Because of NDAs I am not allowed to disclose any specifics about my work on this project but I will give an overall description
I joined Bohemia initially as an intern game programmer and learned a lot about the project, the engine, and C++ in general while under the wing of one of the senior developers at the company. From the very beginning I was getting involved in many different parts of the code base and fixing small bugs and adding small features. After gathering some experience, I was entrusted to start working on maintaining and improving upon the camera systems already present in the game. As I became more acquainted with the camera systems, I was given ownership of the feature.
I have since worked more on the camera systems as well as other parts of the project such as platform development for Steam, PS5 , as well as Xbox to implement or rework multiple features.
