This game was project I did at the end of my second year at Breda University of Applied Sciences.
I, along with 15 other teammates, was tasked with creating a narrative-driven platformer game.
We spent 4 weeks concepting, and another 8 weeks on the pre-production, production, and post-production phases of development.
After a lot of hard work, we published the game on Itch.io in June of 2023.
Main contributions:
Traversal mechanics (climbing, leaping over gap, crouch walk)
Interaction mechanics (talking with npcs and picking up items)
Voice acting for main character
For the traversal mechanic, I made a tool in Unreal so that designers can easily place it in any map and adjust it to the specific situation.
It has a preset for climbing, crouch walking, and leaping over a gap, and then both the spline and the start and end boxes can be changed if needed.
